Tank Restoration & Lining
Tank Rehabilitation
Life-extension work for concrete, steel and polyethylene tanks, including lining and waterproofing.
Tank Rehabilitation and Life Extension
Ageing concrete, steel and polyethylene tanks can often be rehabilitated rather than rebuilt. Falcon assesses the tank and applies the repair, lining and waterproofing measures that restore it to service.
Scope is confirmed case by case: polyethylene tank restoration where technically feasible, steel tank restoration within Falcon's capability, and concrete tank rehabilitation.
Tank Restoration & LiningWhat We Offer
Concrete tank rehabilitation
Crack treatment, lining and waterproofing for concrete tanks and reservoirs.
Crack treatment
Cracks treated and sealed before lining or waterproofing.
Waterproofing
Systems that stop leakage and moisture ingress.
Chemical-resistant lining
Lining chosen for the liquid the tank now holds.
Steel tank restoration
Restoration of steel tanks within Falcon's capability.
Polyethylene tank restoration
Repairs to polyethylene tanks where technically feasible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can a leaking concrete tank be rehabilitated?
Often yes. Cracks are treated, the surface prepared, then a lining or waterproofing system applied. Inspection confirms whether the structure is suitable.
What if a steel tank is corroded through?
The extent of corrosion decides whether restoration is feasible, and thickness inspection determines that. Where restoration is not appropriate, we say so.
Can polyethylene tanks be repaired?
Where technically feasible. Feasibility depends on the type of damage and the tank, and is assessed on inspection.
